Cosy Autumn Interior Design Scheme

It’s the first of October which means that Autumn is here! It has to be one of our favourite seasons with the changing colours and cosy evenings at home. Autumn colours are gorgeous and bring a feeling of warmth to our homes, especially when the weather is cooler. We’ve put together a cosy interior design scheme which embraces the rich colours of the season.

For this cosy living room design scheme, we've used Affogato from Little Greene Paint Company on the walls which brings warmth to the room, especially if used on all walls. We've layered dark woods, velvets and boucle within the scheme to add texture and interest. Dark greens work beautifully with a rust/ burnt orange colour scheme so we've used a dark green accent chair in the space. The additional colour adds interest and depth. As the walls are in a burnt orange shade, we've used artwork and cushions that bring in the dark green colour of the accent chair. This balances the colour within the space.
